That scenario defies logic: A damaged power window switch or power window system components should not work at all! No answer from the so-called experts at my Chevy dealership. Window switch update. I brought the car to the dealer this morning and apparently this window switch issue is a very common problem! Apparently it just needs to be reset and the way you solve the problem is to run the window all the way up so it's closed, then you pull on the up switch again and hold it for 3 seconds. Done, solved!
