Use a small screwdriver to release the mounting clips to separate the window switch from the bezel, on some switches the bezel is included with the new switch. RIP. 5799 posts · Joined 2007. #4 · May 21, 2013. A single fuse and PTC powers all the windows. Look towards the regulator as stated. Around $60 bucks at amazon. In the mean time, hold the switch down and slam the door at the same time. It may come alive at least temporarily.

That scenario defies logic: A damaged power window switch or power window system components should not work at all! No answer from the so-called experts at my Chevy dealership. So, I am now waiting for (my) ordered system components and by the way, Chevy has discontinued them all, and one of the components (is non-existent as a new part).
Window switch update. I brought the car to the dealer this morning and apparently this window switch issue is a very common problem! Apparently it just needs to be reset and the way you solve the problem is to run the window all the way up so it's closed, then you pull on the up switch again and hold it for 3 seconds. Done, solved!
